As one of Riverstone's main events, the school hosts an International Fall Festival. This family festival celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the Riverstone International School community and brings an understanding of different cultures to the area.
Highlights of the Fall Festival include:
- Booths featuring crafts, merchants, and historical information and activities spotlighting different areas of the world
- World food vendor booths
- Entertainment including dancers and music from around the world
- Raffle items
The school also celebrates International Education Week each November. Each day during International Education Week, Riverstone's international students address the Lower School students in an assembly educating them about their country and even performing their native songs or national anthems. A lunch banquet is also held for the Middle and Upper School students one day during the week where all the international students cook a dish from their native culture to share with all the students and faculty.
