Earth Day (April 22) has been celebrated worldwide by citizens who are interested in the environmental health of our planet.  Each year, Riverstone International School sets aside an entire week for special earth-related activities that are intermixed with regular academic classes.  Special activities include guest speakers and campus visitors, music, poetry, art and craft activities, community service, and other ways of bringing environmental awareness to Riverstone students while challenging their thinking and creating a festive atmosphere. 

Riverstone provides the setting through which its students will develop curiosity about the natural world, acquire environmental knowledge and skills that will allow them to make wise and informed decisions, and become active participants in finding and implementing solutions to the complex problems of protecting the natural environment.
