Full-Time School Counseling
Our school counselor is available to listen to and counsel students and their parents about social-emotional issues common in developing children. Teachers may refer students or parents can request that their child see the counselor by contacting any staff member. Appointments are typically scheduled in advance.
We also provide extensive guidance about the college application process.
Before and After Care (Preschool–Grade 5)
Before and After Care will be available during the 2023-24 school year, but you must sign up for your child to have care.
Before and After Care is a fee-based service provided to parents and staff. Parents must schedule care for their children the week prior by visiting this page. We release Before and After Care sign-ups a month at a time, one month in advance. Sign-up information will be posted on ParentSquare.
The safety of the children is paramount so licensed childcare workers supervise all children. Only children paying for the service are permitted to be in the childcare classroom.
- Before Care is available Monday–Friday from 7:30–8:15 AM in the Library Atrium at a cost of $6.00 per session.
- After Care is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Preschool Classrooms from 3:30–6:00 PM (Wednesdays from 2:30-6:00 PM) at a cost of $20 per session.
Enrollment agreements must be signed prior to your student utilizing Before or After Care. These forms may be found in the Finalsite Enrollment system.
Study Hall (Grade 6–12)
We provide a monitored study hall in from 4:00–6:00 PM for students in grades 6–12 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Parents must pick up their students by 6:00 PM. There is no charge for this service.
Bus Service
Riverstone offers both morning and afternoon bus services. The fee to ride the bus is a flat fee of $75/month, which includes service to and from school. The bus stops at the following locations:
- Baggley Park on Parkcenter Blvd
- Riverstone House (1257 W River St)
- Camel's Back Park (1200 W Heron St)
- Dona Larsen Park entrance on Warm Springs Ave

Lunch
We have two Hot Lunch providers at Riverstone. My Hot LunchBox offers lunches for students in all grades (Preschool–Grade 12). Life's Kitchen offers another options for students in Middle & High School (Grades 6–12) only. To view more about our hot lunch programs, please visit this link.
