Our Approach
Learning Through Service. Leading Through Community.
At Riverstone, Community and Service are part of everyday learning. From Early Years through High School, students engage locally and globally through hands-on projects, collaborative problem solving, and meaningful partnerships with nonprofits, food banks, refugee centers, and environmental and animal organizations. Small classes, dedicated teachers, and a supportive community ensure every student is known, valued, and empowered to grow—developing empathy, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world.

Clubs
Every student belongs to one of our 30+ clubs, from Model UN and Forensics to the Anglers Club, with 100% participation across campus. Each group is challenged to identify opportunities for service, connecting personal interests to real-world impact and fostering creativity, leadership, and collaboration.

Service Projects
Whether restoring local waterways, volunteering with nonprofits, supporting refugee programs, or coordinating campus events for younger students, Riverstone students regularly engage in projects that benefit the broader community while developing real-life skills.

Building Leaders Through Service
At Riverstone, we believe that education and service go hand in hand. Our students graduate with more than academic knowledge; they leave with a strong sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment to others. By engaging in community service throughout their time at Riverstone, they learn that meaningful action begins with seeing a need, stepping forward, and working together to create positive change.
