Brett Lofgren

MS Humanities, MS & HS English, and DP Theory of Knowledge Teacher

Brett is a product of the Mountain West, born in Reno, Nevada he also lived in Bozeman, Montana, Las Vegas, Nevada, Spokane, Washington, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Boise, Idaho. He recently spent five years teaching at international schools in South Korea. Prior to that, he taught in the Boise School District for seven years. Brett earned a B.A. in English from Gonzaga University with a minor in history and teaching certificates in English/language arts and social studies. He received his master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Boise State University in 2016. Brett lives with his wife (Danielle) and three children (Finn, Lucy, and Emma) on the Boise Bench. When he’s not teaching, you can find him playing with his family, running in the foothills, fly-fishing or reading a good book. His less-than-secret passion is to pursue a good cup of coffee in all it’s potential forms.
