Jazmin was born and raised in Mexico. She came to the United States at the age of 12 and lived in California for over 20 years. There Jazmin attended CSU-Monterey Bay (Go Otters!), where she graduated with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Human Development. After graduation, she dove right into the credential program, where she earned her teaching credential and bilingual authorization. As a native Spanish speaker, she hopes to share her love and knowledge of the Spanish language while shaping young minds. After the pandemic, Jazmin and her husband moved to Idaho to be closer to family. She enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter in her free time, drinking iced caramel macchiatos, cooking, baking, and gardening.
