John spent twenty years teaching IB physics and math at a public high school in St. Paul, Minnesota and a private international school in Toronto, Canada. He moved to Boise in 2019 with his wife and three kids to be near family. After spending a few years teaching in the Boise School District he is excited to be teaching in an IB school again. He has a BS in physics and loves sharing his excitement for the subject with curious students. In his free time, John can be found skiing or biking with his family. He also keeps in touch with his Minnesota roots and gets out on the ice to play hockey from time to time.
