Kari grew up as a Third Culture Kid, living in Germany and attending German schools when she was growing up. As an adult she began working in international education, beginning here at Riverstone and then in Harare, Zimbabwe; Budapest, Hungary; Houston, Texas; New York City, New York, and now back to her international roots at Riverstone. Kari is an experienced educator with over 30 years in schools and almost 20 years as an administrator. Kari is also a proud parent of two Riverstone graduates. When Kari is not in school she enjoys going on walks and hikes, riding her bike, photography, reading books, cultural events, spending time with friends, and her favorite thing to do, besides spending time with her daughters, is to travel and experience the world.
