Matthew moved from Philadelphia to Idaho in 2002 to learn more about the natural world. He has degrees in mathematics and environmental engineering, and loves finding connections and patterns in the world around us. After careers in Environmental Education and Environmental Engineering, Matthew shifted to a focus on Mathematics Education and its application in technology. He believes that high school students are ready now to take on exciting projects and follow their questions wherever they may lead.
