Michael Schiesel
Director of Residential Life
Coming from a large family teaches you a thing or two about Residence Life. Mike’s experience at home with his nine siblings led him to a lifelong career in education, including getting his master’s. Originally from Buffalo, NY, he has mentored students all over the United States, contributing to the classrooms, sports and residential life of schools from Arizona to New Hampshire. He is excited to join the Riverstone team; it already feels like home! When not working, Mike makes his home in the Philippines with his wife and her son. His interests include cooking, sports, camping, and Star Trek.
