Affording Riverstone
Riverstone is committed to making our education accessible to all students.
Our Approach
One-third of our students receive tuition assistance
We believe that an education at Riverstone should be accessible to all students. The Board of Trustees annually allocates funds for financial aid so that we may recruit and retain qualified students, regardless of their families’ ability to pay full tuition. Investing in education is a choice that all of our families make, and our assistance program provides an avenue to attend Riverstone for families who qualify. In total, about one-third of our students receive tuition assistance and scholarships.

How Our Model Works
When you apply to Riverstone, we encourage you to also complete an application through Clarity, our financial aid platform. The Clarity application takes into account your family’s full financial picture, including income, assets, debt, other children’s educational costs, and family responsibilities. We send this information to our partners at Mission Enrollment, who hand-review our Clarity applications and determine your family’s suggested tuition rate. Many factors beyond income are considered in our financial aid decisions, and admission decisions are made independently of a family’s ability to pay. Families who choose to opt out of the process through Clarity commit to our full tuition rates.

We offer three payment options to fit your family’s needs:
- Single payment: Pay tuition in full before your student starts school
- Two payments: Split tuition into two installments, paid in July and November (2% finance fee applies)
- Ten monthly payments: Spread tuition across ten months, paid July through April (5% finance fee applies)
Many families take advantage of our payment plan options. You can select your preferred payment plan during the enrollment process. Payment plans may be available for mid-year enrollment at the discretion of the Enrollment Team and Finance Controller.
While we don’t offer an automatic sibling discount, families with multiple children enrolled at Riverstone are given special consideration in our financial aid review process.
