Kate Masterson is an Artist and Educator from Boise, Idaho. She studied Painting at Humboldt State University and Art History at the University of Paris, later earning a Teaching Certificate from Northwest Nazarene University. Her teaching is informed by a commitment to fostering artistic expression for all students and a core belief that arts educational experiences can produce significant positive impacts on academic and social development. When she isn’t teaching, Kate enjoys exploring the Idaho Mountains, cooking and eating Japanese food, and tending to her garden.
