Raquel was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up in a Spanish-speaking household. She attended Trinity International University in Chicago, IL where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and graduated with honors. Raquel worked as a Student Life Office Assistant for TIU while also playing college soccer. After graduating, Raquel moved back to Arizona and worked as a paraprofessional for a year before getting married and moving to Michigan. She visited Boise in fall of 2023 and fell in love with Idaho and its outdoor scene so she decided to move to Boise in spring of 2024. Raquel enjoys fitness, being outside, cooking and most of all spending time with her husband and golden retriever puppy.
