Jowdar Terrazas is a dedicated Biology teacher with over 12 years of experience in teaching AP Biology. He recently relocated to Boise from North Texas, where he not only taught high school Biology but also led science teacher development initiatives at his former school, mentoring colleagues and helping shape his former school’s science curriculum. Jowdar has a passion for teaching complex topics such as biochemistry, molecular genetics, and cellular energetics to young scientists. He is excited to take on the challenge of working with Riverstone students to help them develop the laboratory skills that are a key element of DP Biology. Outside of his teaching, Jowdar enjoys building Gundam manga models, spending time with his 10-year-old son, and supporting his wife, who is currently attending medical school in Boise.
