Katelyn was born in Everett, Washington and moved around a lot as a child. In 2018, Katelyn graduated from Boise State University with a B.A. in Communication and a B.S. in Psychology. When Katelyn became a paraprofessional in 2020, she realized that teaching was the career for her and got certified in teaching K-8. Katelyn spent two years in the Valivue School District, and most recently was a 1st grade teacher at Anser Charter School for three years. Katelyn loves creating relationships with students and watching them grow as both learners and individuals. In her free time, Katelyn loves to be outside camping or hiking. She also enjoys traveling, singing, playing the ukulele and piano, and crafting.
