Sydney Thompson

ES Learning Support Aide

Sydney is originally from Bainbridge Island, Washington, a short ferry ride west of Seattle. She moved to Idaho to attend Boise State University, where she recently graduated with Honors, earning a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science. Sydney has experience developing and leading youth programs in the Treasure Valley. She especially enjoys building meaningful relationships with students, creating positive learning environments, and connecting with children through arts and crafts. She is also interested in pursuing occupational therapy, particularly with a focus on fine motor development and helping children build independence in everyday activities. Outside of work, Sydney loves spending time outdoors, whether she’s roller skating along the Greenbelt, fishing and camping with her partner, or swimming and floating the river during the summer.
