  • Tuition covers only 80–85% of the actual cost of educating each student. The Riverstone Fund helps bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of education, supporting faculty, programs, campus improvements, financial aid, and other essential needs. Every gift of every size matters and shows that our community stands together to ensure an exceptional education for every student.

  • Each November, we bring together our community, extended community, sponsors, and friends for our Annual Auction Gala, an evening that celebrates connection, creativity, and a shared commitment to our students. Guests enjoy a grade-level art auction, as well as live and silent auction items, all in support of our designated Fund-A-Need. Join us in building a culture of generosity that directly impacts our students and school community.

These funds support the programs and initiatives that matter most to you, while providing sustainable impact for generations of Riverstone students.   • A pledge is a commitment to make a gift to Riverstone over a set period of time.   • Gifts can also be made in the form of grants from donor-advised funds. For more information, please consult your financial and tax advisor, as donors may enjoy tax benefits through gifts of this nature.
  • Gifts of stock and securities may provide tax advantages to our donors and are welcome gifts. Please contact us for instructions on making a gift of stock.
  • Many employers offer matching gift programs for their employees. If you or your spouse works for a company that provides matching gifts, your contribution to Riverstone can often be doubled simply by completing a form through your employer. Some employers even offer a set hourly amount for hours volunteered.
  • As a donor, you will receive credit for the full amount of the combined contribution, including your employer’s match. This not only increases the impact of your gift, but also ensures that you are recognized in the giving category that reflects the total donation.
  • Members of the Riverstone community who include the school in their estate plans demonstrate a powerful commitment to our mission and future. Planned gifts can be made through a trust, charitable gift annuity, IRA distributions, life insurance policies, or most commonly a bequest.

  • Online payments will automatically generate an email receipt that you should keep for your tax records. All other giving methods will receive an email receipt from Development directly once the Finance Office has processed your gift. Please contact krowan@riverstoneschool.org if you need assistance.

  • Tuition dollars meet only part, or about 80-85% of the actual cost of educating a student, we need to raise additional funds each year to bridge this gap. Riverstone International School is a non-profit, independent organization that operates without financial assistance from any public sources. The participation of our alumni, faculty, families, and students in fundraising efforts is a powerful signal to other potential donors, such as corporations and foundations, about our collective commitment to the school’s success. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference, and together, we strengthen our school community

  • The entire Riverstone community ( Board of Governors, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, parents of alumni, and grandparents)  is asked to make a donation to the Riverstone Fund each year by June 30.

  • The amount you choose to invest in The Riverstone Fund is a personal decision, and every gift, no matter the size, represents a meaningful commitment to our school’s success. We encourage you to support the fund at a level that feels right for you and your family, remembering that participation is just as important as the amount.

  • All donors are recognized annually in our Impact Report published each fall. Those who have cumulatively given $1,903 or more to the Riverstone Fund in a given year are invited to our Donor Event the following fall.  Similarly, those giving $10,000+ are invited to the annual Heads Circle reception.
