The IB Diploma results were released last week and Riverstone seniors did exceptionally well.
IB Diploma exams are taken by hundreds of thousands of students across the world, all at the same time and serve as a solid benchmark for any school with aspirations at an international level.
The high standards set by international schools include an average 75% pass rate with an average point score of 30 (out of 45 points).
This year, Riverstone seniors managed an 80% pass rate with an average score of 31.4 points. In addition, 24% of students succeeded with a “bilingual” diploma whereby one or more subjects are taken in a different language.
We have known for a while that Riverstone is competitive on a regional and national level. These results now confirm Riverstone’s place on an international stage.
Congratulations to all of our senior class. We wish them all great success as they move on to the next stages of their education.
