International Assembly: Korea

Four of Riverstone’s Korean students shared stories and traditions from their native county with our elementary and middle school kids at Wednesday’s assembly. This was the second in a series of international assemblies that will be presented to our students throughout the school year. The assembly was presented by Sue, Kyle, and Min who included a new student in Grade 5, Ye In. The highlight of the event was when the group taught the rest of the students “The Tadpole Dance” about the life cycle of a frog. True to Riverstone form, it didn’t take long for the crowd to jump to their feet and dance!

A special thank you to Gemma Utting, our International Student Coordinator, our host families, and our students, Sue, Kyle, Min, and Ye In!
