Riverstone student Jordan Liebich was so inspired by her Grade 5 Primary Years Programme Exhibition that she took matters into her own hands to ensure that other kids and adults could experience the joy of reading. By refurbishing a newspaper stand, personalizing it with our Riverstone otter, and filling it with donations from classmates, Jordan has enabled nearby residents as well as Greenbelt users, to borrow a book or share a book. All built on a trust system. And a lot closer for Harris Ranch area residents than the downtown Boise library!
So the next time that you are walking, cycling, or driving by 5521 Warm Springs Avenue in front of our high school, stop and see what the selection looks like. Or consider leaving a book that you have finished reading and want to share with others.
Thank you Jordan! We’re proud of you!
